1) What is and for what serves a dialing board ?

The Saat's dialing board is composite of a hardware (that provide a interface between a telephonic board - a specific modem) with a software. It works as an auxiliary to telemarketing operator's, allowing the calls, by pulse or ton, utilizing PABX or not, be done automatically by the system. This feature reduces drastically the dialing errors by wrong numbers, increase the dialing speed and reduces the operator's fatigue.

2) The dialing board just dials ?

No, it also is capable to insert in the phone line, voice messages previously recorded and stored in files, under operator's control. This feature allows product, services, official reports descriptions in a very simple way, increasing the service in a significant mode. Allows a homogeneously on products and services presentation, reduces the operator's fatigue, reduces the repetition of some informations increasing the group moral and enlarging the productivity. Happen also the psychological positive factor of the operator knows that he/she can count with this features in any moment. Still extends the capacity of simultaneous function with several products/services.

Another functionality of the system is its capacity when asked by the operator's software to be capable to inform if the telephone bell is ringing and to signalize the operator to answer the call. In a future version, will be incorporated a call identifier.

3) What kind of voice messgaes can be insert in the line ?

The voice messages are recorded on PC's files or in the net that the PC's belongs. They are in audio formats (.wav). Each message is a file so can be exist several messages recorded on HD and the only limit is the HD storage capacity.

4) Where I can record the messages ?

The messages can be recorded in a multimedia system in .wav format and converted easily to be used by the system trough a program that is included on the kit. You must record in these features: 11025 sample rate, 8 bits sample size and recording format PCM or A LAW/CCITT-A. This setup depends of the program that will be used but is so simple to configure. You can record the messages into the board as well, trough a software that is also included on the kit.

5) How can I integrate to my software the dialing board facilities ?

To Clipper programs, are delivered functions that will be asked by your program, for example: to make a call to a number obtained from your data files: ..... obtainment of a number to be called ..... result = AA CallNum (string with number to be called, maximum time waited to be answered) after return of this function the variable ""result"" will contain a number that will inform the operation result: Busy number, doesn't answer in the maximum time waited to answer, had answer (voice), answer by a fax machine, answer by pager (1000 Hz). In function of operation result, your software will give you an action: will be schedule a re-call (insert in another register's files that will be proceed later) in case of be busy line or doesn't answer, for example. If the board detect an answer (voice presence), your software will mark to the operator to hang the phone/headset and start to talk. At any moment, under operator's request, your Clipper software will execute a function to play a message in the telephone line: (code line in Clippper to insert a voice message in the telephone line): AA PlayFi (file name with voice message). After the return of this function, your software will ask to the operator to continue the talking. In the same way that in Clipper (MSDOS) are available .dll's to Delphi and VB with the same functionalities.

6) How is the technical support ?

If you have any doubts, we will be available to solve them and to guide you to make your software useful to the maximum of it potential. However, the system board integration to your software is very simple and can be executed with incredible simplicity.

7) Which is the basic requirement of the system ?

To MS-DOS, pure, not a window under Windows 95: 486, 66MHz, 4MB of RAM, 5MB of hard disk (+ space to recorded messages), 01 slot ISA available, Clipper version 5.2, joint of high memory: Blinker or Exospace. To window DOS operating under Windows 95: idem above, except CPU: Pentium 100 and 16MB of RAM. To Delphi or VB: Idem above, except CPU: Pentium 133 and 16MB of RAM.
